I'm in the market for some R23 batts to soundproof my office, but can't find any Rockwool product in any of the local big box stores & online lead time is 6-8 weeks.

Anyone know what's up and/or have a way to get some? Located in Dallas

Local suppliers to me I talked to a few months ago only had the r15 batts. I'm having to go with the Owen's Thermafiber r21 batts. Same thickness as the Rockwool R23's to fit flush with 2x6

There's a shortage on all mineral wool, not just Rockwool. My insulation contractors are having a very difficult time getting it. It's a minimum of a 6-8 week lead time.
