The valve body on my sprinkler system's backflow preventer has a crack. When I cut the water on coming from the city, the crack leaks a little (not a lot). Is replacement my only option?

Mine cracked after the last freeze and I looked at the same thing. You can buy the individual ball valves on eBay or other online stores that specialize in that sort of thing. Some of the valves were $40+ and then shipping on top of that. I just bought another pvb and saved the parts of the old one. Figure I can cannibalize it if I end up needing new parts in the future.

We would buy the entire part from Amazon and just replace it.

Its a cast body part that cracked, just buy new and replace.

I went through the same thing and just replaced both ball valves while I was at it. $50 and done
