I'm trying to build a batting cage in the backyard. However, the electrical drop spans the spot where the cage will be located and comes into the garage on a 10 foot wall. I need to either bury the electrical drop, or set a power pole and then raise the electrical drop over the gap. I've reached out to Centerpoint a number of times, but am having trouble getting a straight answer out of them. They are obviously busy this week. I'm happy to pay Centerpoint for the work, just need to find the right contact person.

We used an electrician to relocate and raise our mast up to code, and from what they described it seemed like a PITA working with Centerpoint. What I understood from conversations with the electrician is that contractors who regularly deal with Centerpoint have the ability to more easily/quickly disconnect and reconnect the power, but then it ultimately has to still be visually inspected afterward (can't remember if that was the city for code reasons, Centerpoint, or both).
