Our home requires 4 different size filters all located in the ceiling. Just switch out and added 2 "media" to our 2 AC units. They take a 20x25x4 filters. Hope this was a good move.

Won't miss having to climb the ladder every 3 months to change out the filters.

I think it's a good move. They filter better, run quieter, last longer….

I think they are bees knees.

I was always invariably out of ONE of the two sizes I needed for the in wall filters. Hahaha

May I ask how you accomplished this? This is something I could see as being beneficial in my house.

It's a very easy job for an HVAC outfit and probably something they'll send an apprentice to come over and do.

I used my AC company. They charged me $550 for the first and $400 for the second. Took 2 men about 3 hours. If you live in the Spring or Conroe area, I will be happy to recommend them.

KUDOS!

Also a fan of Honeywell metal electronic filters
had one since 1980 and still kicking, even eats smoke
Quick wash out, hose out and lasts forever, no more $$$$ spent
Ten words or less ... a goal unattainable

We *Wise Guys Heating & Cooling) have a high capacity high efficiency 4" deep filter that fits into the standard return air filter grille. My father came up with this idea over 20 years ago and we insert a patented housing into your existing return filter grille and then we slide our Enviromax filter directly into the housing. Filters average $7-8 per month depending on size and we guarantee them to last 1 year.

By installing them into the return it keeps the entire AC duct system clean. When we combine it with our UV light system then we actually guarantee that the evaporator coils will not ever get dirty.....if they do we will clean them for free.
