I have a ring doorbell and ring floodlight cam but want something simple no wire battery operated… probably to be able to mount onto a variety of surfaces and areas with minimal drilling required.

Need something to just be able to check it's field of view, see motion traffic etc

I have all ring cams… most are hardwired but I use one that is battery powered. Works well and just like having all on the same app.

Have Ring cams as well. They're all plug-in and work great plus it's nice having one app for the doorbell and cams and one subscription for recordings.

I have a Lorex system. Their best deals are during Black Friday, but you might be able to call and ask for one.
I bought an NVR with 4 cameras that are all connected through cat5 cables. Love it!

If you plan on doing a hard wired system, this is the time of year to run all your cables in the attic. Not so hot.

Also have a Lorex system. Price and quality of components is pretty good, but their software is a MF.

agreed. I use Eufy. No monthly subscription fees and all the video is stored locally on a base station.

We have the blink cameras that are supposed to be the same family as the doorbell. They are battery and wifi. They are ok, I guess.
