I've been one of those lucky people that signed a long term contract for 9 cents per Kwh and it just ran out.
I was looking today at powertochoose and I'm not sure what to go with.
I found 12.6 cents for a 1 year contract, 12.9 cents for a 3 year contract, and 11.4 cents on a 3 month contract. These prices were based on 2,000 Kwh usage which is below my average usage but I go below that in the three coldest months.
Will there be better prices in January? Should I take the 1 year or the 3 year contract?
I just don't know much about the energy market. The only reason I signed up for a 3 year deal at 9 cents was because I was tired of switching all the time.
