I have a 12 year old LG washer that started to pool water after doing a load so I changed out the washer pump. Same thing is happening and I am sure it is not the pump.
Washing the clothes does fine, clothes damp as expected after the wash, clothes taken out into dryer and washer tub is dry. In about an hr you start to see water pool at the bottom and gets worse as time goes by. If I do a rinse/spin cycle, tub is dry again. So I know the pump works but something is allowing water to go into the tub after cycle is completed. I wonder if it is the board malfunctioning or the water inlet leaky so water drips into the machine slowly.
Anyone have similar issues and is it an easy fix? If not, I will just get a new one as this is pushing 13 yrs.
