Howdy Ags,
So my garage door has three methods of opening: the wall switch, the outdoor keypad, and the remote control. (Four, if you count disconnecting it from the track and opening by hand, but that's not important right now.) Right now one of these methods is not working: the wall switch.
The outdoor keypad and remotes work fine. Press 'open' on one of them, and the light comes on and the door opens and closes normally. Press the open button on the wall switch, and the light comes on and off but the opener doesn't start.
I removed the wall switch from the wall, removed the wires from the back of the switch, and touched the wires together. The same thing happened: each time the wires touched, the light turned on and off but the opener did nothing.
What say you, Ags? Time to seek professional help, or is this something I can fix myself?
