Porch Stair Handrail Info?

Insurance company is requiring we install a handrail on the stairs leading up to front door. I am going to have to DIY this and only have 10 days to get it done. Need something cheap and quick that I can slap on that will satisfy the inspector - I will go back and put in something nicer when I have more time.

There are 7 steps and there is brick wall and post I can attach to. Think I have basic requirements figured out (height, distance from wall, diameter of rail, etc.) but not sure if/how far it has to extend on top and bottom. It make most sense to put it the driveway side but if it has to extend past bottom step it will be in the perfect spot to run into. Would like to start it at at first or second step rather than on the landing? One issue is the number of steps - I see components and kits 2, 3, or 4 but nothing for this length.

What style - just handrail attached to wall, or attached to posts top & Bottom?
What material - steel, vinyl, wood?
Where can I buy the components local Houston?
Any Kits available or do i have to by everything separate?
Anybody got a "Guy" in West Houston I can call?

Any help greatly appreciated!
