Does anyone here know of a group that does leak detection? I need an expert.

since moving into my new house two years ago I've watched the new engineered hardwoods start to warp in three different places. My living room is so bad the wood is rotting right through.

TIA

Like "new build" new or "new to you" new? I've got a 50 year old house that had foundation repair done and it had engineered wood when we moved in. Ever spot they broke through the slab to put in piers for foundation repair was stained or rotted when we moved in. Possible culprit if the home has had foundation work.

Could be. This is a 60's house.

What's the fix?

I put down a vapor barrier and LVP after ripping out the engineered wood. I'm assuming your foundation is slab on grade and if it's like mine it probably didn't have much of a vapor barrier under it originally. I bet if you wanted to go back with wood floors you could source a heavy duty underlayment to mitigate some of the issues.
