What type of tradesman/company does repair/replacement of front door flashing? The edges of my front door leak light, air, etc, and I want someone to fix it properly.

In west Houston in case you have any recommendations.

First I'd try Home Depot and buy some new door seals and see if that works. They aren't hard to put in and will cost you about $20.

If it matters, the flashing that's on there today is a creased piece of bronze metal, not foam or rubber.

you would probably add the weatherstripping right into the frame and leave that metal strip if you wanted. if it's too snug with both then you can take out the metal.

adding the foam is one of the easiest tasks to do, no hiring necessary

My door frame doesn't have a groove in which to insert the weather stripping, so I'm thinking the frame is probably the original one from 50+ years ago.

Copper weatherstripping has not been used in the past 40-45 years. Your best bet is to retro with something like this

You can also retrofit the push in kind but you have to router or cut the groove with a saw and sometimes nails are in the way

You are limited to nail or screw in. It's not hard either.
