Does anyone have experience with alarm.com? Positive or negative reviews? My builder's guy installed a system compatible with alarm.com (DSC Neo). Im first, wondering if its worth the money and second, looking for an alarm monitoring service compatible with this system. Smith Thompson wont service the DSC Neo equipment. Located in Dallas.

It's fine. The app is quirky on my wife's phone. Works perfectly on mine. We have Brinks monitoring. Whole house is hardwired with sensors on all windows and doors. We use the cell service only.

The only problem we had was when 3G was discontinued. Had a hard time getting a new cell unit and properly programming it.

DSC is compatible with most alarm companies. The builder probably gets a kickback if you go with what he says, but you're able to go with other companies. I worked for a local company in CS a decade ago, but don't know anything about alarm.com

We have Guardian and use alarm.com all the time.

FWIW... We just finished building a new house with DSC Neo touchscreens and a bunch of sensors. The alarm company who installed everything uses the Alarm.com site to run the system too. So far, so good. No complaints after about four months of use.

Im finding some that dont support the Neo system but rather DSC's older hardware. Seems weird to me. FWIW, our builder doesnt care who I use. He has no affiliation and finished the project up months ago.
