I have need a 20 zone irrigation controller. Does anyone have experience with Hunter Pro HC or the Rainbird ESPM3? I know they both have Wifi capabilities. Just wanted to get some feedback on people that have used them. This is for a residential application.

Hunter all day over rainbird from what I've read recently while doing research to replace my own controller

Thanks. My previous controller was Rain bird and its LCD screen failed. I cant replace the LCD board for less than the cost of a new system.

I have the rainbird esp me3 controller. It works fine for my 8 zones. The wifi module is an extra expense, though.

I believe my irrigation guy told me Rachio would be coming out with a controller with more zones. I have the 16 zone Rachio.

I prefer all of the setup configurations of Hunter to RainBird or Rachio. Personal preference. Licensed irrigator here and owner of a Hunter ProHC at my house.
