I'm redoing our backyard sprinkler system because of a big patio project. I sent off our landscape plan to Orbit for their design and they came back with the design shown below. Seems to utilize a ton of smaller sprinklers and some could be removed by using larger rotors, but I'm not a sprinkler guy. My neighbor works for toro and can supply me all their stuff for free so I'll chat with him but wanted to get another opinion.

That is pretty much perfect. Because of angles down to skinny areas you can't use rotors. You could maybe get away with 4 rotors in top right but you would still need about as many heads and a separate zone for just the rotors anyways.

You could use MP Rotors and use less heads and they're more efficient. Same precip rate on the 28 and 35 ft radius nozzles as the 8 ft nozzles, but they're not cheap and I'm not sure if orbit even has a line of them.

He says his neighbor is a Toro guy so they'd all be Precision nozzles. I'm personally not a huge fan, but I know some people are. Conserva only does Toro revamps.
