Posted on the Metroplex forum but thought I would ask here as well. I've got a window in my dining room that looks like it was hit with a rock. Just a hole in the outer glass of a double pane window. Anyone in DFW have a recommendation for someone to replace the glass? I'm in McKinney.

I've used Glass Doctor a few times. They're a chain type company, but fair enough price and easy to work with.

Not wanting to hijack, I assume these chains will cover all of DFW and I also need a recommendation. My son put a lacrosse ball through one of the panes of my bedroom window. Opposite side of the metroplex, Aledo.

I've used JPON glass out of Garland a few times for windows and for matching glass in a 40 year old light fixture my wife broke. They have always been honest and prices better than what I thought would have been fair. They even sent someone to look once who told me what to buy to fix my problem without paying them to replace glass.

Sorry to derail but figure this is a good place. We have a couple of double pane windows that broke seal. One comes and goes getting foggy and then drying out. Another is just hazy all the time. Is it worth fixing individual windows or just put up with it until we are ready to replace in bulk? 30 year old house, the one window is seen all the time, the other is in the guest room behind shutters so out of sight, out of mind.

You can replace just the glass instead of having to buy complete new window. We did it on 3 windows and saved a lot of money.
