I noticed this yesterday on an outside wall and there is water that seems to be seeping out slowly. There is a shower and tub on the other side of that wall but can't see anything inside. There appears to be a clean out close to the water, curious if it can have anything to do with the water? Anyone seen something like this before?

This happened to us. Out master bath/shower are on an exterior wall. Part of our shower hadn't been sealed properly, and the water slowly built up underneath the shower seat. It finally reached the point where it starting leaking outside.

Good to know and that could be the case here. We may stop using that shower for a few days to see if it dries up, that would be one way to determine if that is the case versus a slow leak in a pipe. Thank you for replying!

I think it's very likely a shower pan leak, or similar to what was as mentioned above, but you should at least check your leak indicator back at the meter first. Make sure everything is turned off and if the triangle (typical - may vary by meter) is spinning, you might have a leak on the supply side.

How old is this shower?

Good advice and the shower is approximately 30 years old. We are planning to remodel this bathroom so this could move that timeline up if this is the case.

Your foundation is likely fine. I've had this happen and it was an above slab issue.

Yep. Sure seems like there are a lot of showers built in that stretch that last about 25-30 years. That's what ours did.

In the day, it was the fiberglass shower pans that outlasted all the rest; thanks to Jacuzzi technology, their trial/error/tweaking, its the Acrylic that took over. Seems to me you got neighter of these ...was this a custom build or spec.house????

Today's pans may be superior to all that preceeding, so ... indeed, 2023 summer or prior would be my bath remodel genesis.
Ten words or less ... a goal unattainable

The foundation is dry from not using the shower so that was the issue. Our home was custom and I would say we have put off the remodel long enough. Thanks for everyone's input, y'all are the best!!
