Keep seeing these tiny little black bugs on my bell pepper plants. I've used an insecticidal soap and neem oil, but neither has gotten rid of them. This is the best pic I could get because they're super tiny.

Maybe a little black ant? Actually no sarcasm there, it's a species apparently, and only 1 to 2 mm long.

Certainly looks like an ant.

Probably after aphid honey dew.

No worries. I've heard of them and that is kind of what they look like. If they're ants, they're probably eating tiny aphids or something and the neem oil will take care of their food source. I'm not too hung up on it because these plants haven't produced super well in the past and they had a pretty hard winter. I'm really just limping them along and trying to salvage them.

ETA thanks for the second opinion. Appreciate it!
