Looking to have approximately 500sf of driveway (4" thick) added and first quote came in around $10/sf which seems really high. The area is level so not an excessive amount of prep involved although it is "L" shaped. Looking for others experience. We're in the Longview area. TIA.

I paid $6 sft for removal of 1700 sft of 4" asphalt and pouring 4" of concrete tied into the homes foundation, surrounding concrete beds, and the curb at the street. Two car carport, one car garage access, and a 12' apron to the curb. Used a group out of Cuero. I'll take this as a great price after seeing the others mentioned.

DFW driveway replace/expansion last month, 4" 3500 psi, with 40' or so of curb. I paid $9/ft for demo and replace, $6/ft for the new pour portion. Most bids were $9-$10.

Who did you use for this?

And was the new pour aggregate or broom finish?
