Has anyone installed one of these?
What do you recommend (low, medium or high pressure)?
I have a 45' x 14' patio that I am trying to keep a little cooler during the summer. The front of the house is South/Southeast facing so the back of the patio (towards the house) doesn't get too bad with the ceiling fans on (I have 3 equally spaced out). I am wondering how effect those misting systems are at actually making it feel cooler? How effectively do they evaporate water in Seabrook (Southeast Houston, towards Kemah, 2 miles from the water)?
It seems like an oscillating fan with high pressure misters is the way to go? This way the mist is annoyingly concentrated in one area leading to stuff getting wet after a while. I could also automate it to where the misters turn on/off on a duty cycle (lets say 2 min on, 4 min off or whatever) while the fans the additional oscillating fans stay on to help keep everything dry and air circulating.
