OP, I would be surprised if they do this at all. They would not willingly give up an easement.

Good afternoon,
We received your request to change the meter location at ###. This request changes the location of the gas lines, meter, and riser. The cost to change the meter location is $350.00. Attached are the online payment instructions and conditions form that should be completed for the request. Please send the form back with your payment confirmation.
Things to remember:
If you are changing your meter location then you will need to have a plumber move your house line from the meters current location to the meters new location.
If you are within the city limits you will need a city inspection Contact City for inspection requirements.
Make sure that the proposed area has been staked or marked
If this a pool or an addition it will need to be outlined
CNP gas line cannot be located under any part of a structure
Gas line cannot be under a house, garage etc.
Anything in the new meter location area must be cleared before work can be done
(Tree Roots, Landscaping, Decking, Patio, Sidewalk, Sprinkler, Gas Lights, Gas Grill, etc.)
Please reply to this email with your confirmation number and form once payment has been made, not doing so will delay the order being created.
