Need some input on what to put here as a replacement. The flat back is 24" wide. Total space is 43", looks like they put in a 42" builder grade with a 45* cut down the back.

What is wrong with it? If you put in a pedestal you would give up storage.

Can't see in the pic but the laminate/skin on the cabinets is peeling in several places. I should clarify i am going to retile the floors while I'm at it and refresh the space.

New counter top and order paint grade replacement door and drawer fronts. Refinish the face frames and maintain the storage.
Give the mirror a nice trim frame to make it look less builder grade.
