If you have a "painter" caulking your windows, they will need to be re-caulked at least every year (most likely using acrylic). Yes, you will get it done cheap, but it won't last and you are SOL if it leaks at all. There are plenty of guys out there that are "caulkers/waterproofers" that do this work for a living and provide warranties. Pay a little more and get it done by a professional.

well, my comparison may not be apples to apples. I'm in tilt up construction, so while my caulking subs do flatwork as well, roughly 60-70% of the linear feet they are caulking is the 40' vertical panel joints using a lift.Quote:
