I am building a pool and patio and just realized how awesome it would be to replace the wall from my formal dining room with a full wall glass door to open up onto the patio. I'm not trying to quickly find the best option available quickly because construction is going to start any day now. The wall is wall / windows to be replaced is roughly 12 feet wide by 10 feet tall (it's slightly bigger but I'm guessing that's the closest I'm going to get as far as available manufactured options go). Does anyone have recommendation?

My patio guy recommended this: https://www.plygem.com/windows-doors/brands/ply-gem/doors/4780-4880-pocket-sliding/

The plygem door only comes in 8'. I'd like a 10 foot option. It costs about $5k plus install which I am fine with the price, just not sure it's the quality I'm looking for.

One option I found but I have no clue what it costs yet is this one: http://www1.fleetwoodusa.com/products/doors/series-3000-t/

Anyone have experience with this type of project? Any recommendations for a door?

Check out Sierra Pacific. That have stuff that could easily span that length. Not sure what it costs, but it won't be cheap.

Bi-fold:

Or a sliding version:

I used western windows for my rear sliding door and am happy with it. They can go much larger than your required dimensions. Get the 3" rollers, our doors are huge and my 2 year old can still push them open.

You should be around $7500 for door only for that size.

We did something similar. Used Anderson gliding patio doors. They were available in taller than normal sizes with multiple panels.
