I'm trying to make our back patio a bit nicer and more usable so I'm doing a few things back there. One of the things I want to is stain/seal the concrete. We have dogs so it gets pretty dirty really fast.

I found this stuff online after a quick search... Valspar Concrete Coating but I don't know much about it.

It would be great if it looked good and I could hose it off and clean it up pretty easily after the dogs get it dirty.

Any help would be appreciated!

I used this on ours and was happy with how it turned out. I think prep work is key, if its never been stained or painted before youre probably good with a power washing, if it has then you probably need to grind the surface. I did that, was a beast of a job, but so far no chipping.

Those are both coatings, basically fancy higher build paint on your concrete. Will not last very long in high trafficked areas.

Stains actually chemically react to your concrete on the surface. Look at Butterfield stains. They have videos.

Easy to do on your own but prep-work is key. Also use a decorative sealer on top. Butterfield also has those .
