Put up smart siding instead of plywood, will last longer and look similar to your siding! Or siding if you have material left over...

Free lawnmower rides and petting zoo.

The main problem now is that it is partially filled with left over lumber and siding pieces, because I just might need that 2' length of 2x4 someday.

Just add some exterior shelves to the side of your shed for off cuts. Eves will do plenty to protect the potentially useful lumber. Oh wait...

You laugh, but I make it a policy to hold on to scraps like that until the last minute. The end of the job is when you need some short pieces for blocking or a shelf support. If you toss them you cuss yourself because you are buying another 8' piece just to use 18". I had a boss who would want to throw away everything during the construction process. Then he would get upset about not having what he needed to finish little punch list items.

Once I tried to point out that he threw out half a sheet of perfectly good 3/4" plywood last week that we could have used to finish some small item. He didn't like that.

I fully agree with you Builder93. I will add though that once it is finished get rid of scraps so you can enjoy the finished product. Otherwise, you will start a new thread on expanding your shed.
