Anyone have any recommendations on a Bermuda grass seed for a new lawn? I know sod would be the best and quickest but would rather save the money and do seed.

I'd plant a cross, ah, of Bluegrass, Kentucky Bluegrass, Featherbed Bent, and Northern California Sensemilia.

I used this about 3 years ago on about 3000 sq ft where we had cleared yaupons. And also to overseed existing Bermuda that had wear from large dogs.

I spread it with a fertilizer spreader and then followed the watering instructions on the package.

I seeded 15000 sq feet last summer with BlackJack Bermuda. So far, I like it. It is finer bladed than regular common Bermuda.

Arden 15 is about the best seeded variety out there right now. Should be a great time of year to try and establish it.

Is arden the replacement for princess? I looked at them last year, but they were extremely expensive.
