We don't have a money tree or trust funds. Swanky central Austin design & constructions firms w/ their in-house crews can try to bend us over, but we simply wouldn't be able to afford the project and proceed. And I've been around just long enough to know that there will likely come a time in the not-too-distant-future where a 50% 'because we can' surcharge won't fly when money tightens up.

I hope you are right! We are experiencing the same thing with pool construction. Seems like there is a 1.5x multiplier for building a pool central vs. Cedar Park or Leander. A holes.
