I know there are some concrete experts on here.

Building a pool, and we got the 30% chance of rain yesterday after the deck was poured. Sorry for the poor quality, but I grabbed these off with my nest. The concrete sat before rain for about 4 hours. The contractor says the integrity of the concrete is fine since it sat for that long. They'll clean up the top coat and the Kool Deck we are putting on top will hide anything else. Does all this seem reasonable or should I try to push it?

Just want to make sure I wont have any problems in the future, but it sounds like I wont.

Haha, the pool is 18x32

Big backyard. Wanted as much deck as possible.

Hot water and a deck brushed cleared up most of the discoloration.

If they're overlaying/ kool decking, as long as they are grinding/ sand blasting off the loose material, you'll be fine

Actually better curing with the rain. Slows down the reaction which results in less cracking.
