I just spent 3/4 of a can of spectricide wasp killer on about 8 wasps.

Completely soaked them all. 5 fell and crawled around on the ground for about 5 mins. I ended up just squishing them with my shoe. The other 3 flew off unaffected.

I have had this happen with other brands over the last year or 2.

When I was younger, these sprays would kill wasps pretty much instantly or within a few seconds. I remember spraying huge nests with just a little bit of spray and watching the wasps fall into a pile of dead wasps.

Did sprays get weaker or did wasps get stronger??

I've been wondering this myself. I can't find raid wasp spray anywhere either. I know for a fact that was the one that always worked.

I would also like to add that after 35 1/2 years on this earth, this pesky bunch had the one wasp skilled enough to finally sting me.

Yep. Get the black and white can. The green can is garbage.

Get a little diesel fuel in a glass and throw it on them. They won't be stinging anyone.

5% TSP, 5% bleach, 2% deisel, rest water works for me. Never inside tho...

Some places still sell Raid. That's what I would still recommend. The other stuff (whichever other stuff you want to talk about) is like water.

Gas still works really well.....even with ethanol.

Maybe y'all just suck at aiming?

It's weird. I've always been able to find raid wasp spray, but suddenly this year all I find are other brands. They have all other Raid products, but not the wasp spray...

Just about any wasp spray will work if you add a lighter

Seriously, though...I haven't seen Bengal wasp spray in about a year. That stuff was incredible! Half of the wasps didn't even fall off of the nest...they just froze in place.

Heck, if I can find proof they quietly weakened the sprays over the years, that sounds like a good plan.

Hit them with some PT Wasp Freeze II - 80-90% won't make it off the nest and takes about a 2 sec spray

I guess we finally figured out what he's adding to the coils....

Frickin wasp genocide around here the last few days. I keep wasting them and more keep showing up. Almost done with my 2nd can.

Both areas I have sprayed now have more wasps. It's like the spray made em mad and left to get backup

I just use a nail gun. I get the first few but when they scatter, it's a little harder to hit them. I also have some repairs after that.
