Undercounter Sink Sagging

The undercounter kitchen sink is sagging from the granite at the middle sections creating a gap too large to seal with silicone. Water is seeping into the cabinet below. Whoever installed the sink didn't use brackets there are 2 pieces of wood screwed into the cabinet that were used to push the sink firmly against the granite and over time the wood has bowed.

Is this something a handyman can fix or do I need a plumber or granite man to fix it?

SHould be a fairly simple fix.

Disconnect plumbing, clean up area where there is a gap, apply glue/silicone sealant, install temporary wood brace to push sink tight to granite, then install proper under mount sinks

This should be a very easy DIY using something like this:

So I have made several calls and finally got someone to agree to schedule the work. Granite guys didn't want to do it because there is a small chance the granite will chip or break and they don't want to be held liable. The handyman guys won't do it because they aren't skilled in working with granite. The plumber will only disconnect and reconnect the plumbing to the sink.

I got a quote for $300 from a tile company to unseat then reseal the sink and either need to pay a plumber to disconnect the sink/garbage disposal or do it myself.

I don't want to touch the granite for fear of screwing it up so I am good with paying the $300.

Have any of y'all disconnected and reconnected a sink? I have changed out several garbage disposals with no issue, is it much more complicated than that? Can I watch a few YouTube videos and do it myself easily enough?

Edit: I am a bit confused. Why would anywork need to be done on the granite? I'm assuming the stone isn't sagging, but rather just the seal of the sink hs worn or gapped due to weight of the sink?

It is very easy. If you have done - garbage disposal before it should be simple. A couple of tips if you are still nervous about the disconnect/reconnect

Yes, watch YouTube videos.

Done hook up plumbing unless all glue is dry or at the recomendation of the installer.

Be sure you turn off the water under the sink.
You'll need a bucket to catch water in the p trap
Roll a towel up and utilize along edge of cabinet for your back to lay on. Helps take the point of the edge off your spine when you are laying down.

Before you disconnect

Take before pictures at several angles of how all is hooked up.
Take a sharpie and draw small stars/symbols at connection points. (Use a different symbol for each connection)
All connections should be compression fittings, so it is a matter of just unscrewing and screwing back together.

Then it is a simple matching game as you shouldn't need to cut any pipes since they all fit before it started sagging.

The granite does not have to be cut but in the process of detaching the sink and reattaching with brackets there is a chance the granite can be damaged.

This is why I did that as well. My aunt sells them there granite so they did it for $200 but it was a pain getting/keeping them on the schedule. Probably took them an hour to 1:30 and although I probably could've handled it, they got it done and one less thing I had to worry about

Can you post a picture of what it looks like now?

Location?

$300 plus plumbing is way to much to fix this properly

The last one I fixed was around $175 turn key.

Sink has completely detached and was hanging about 1/2 inch from the granite due to poor support underneath,.

I will try to take some pics in a bit.
