Best outdoor grills? I'm already going to build in a spot for an egg but want to include a gas grill as well. It can be either a built in or I can leave space for a free standing.

Based on past threads you will get a lot of recommendations for the Weber Genesis and the built in variant.

I'm putting a Saber 670 built in in my outdoor kitchen when the house is completed.

Where'd you purchase your grill from?

And what's the deal with the Lynx brand? They are substantially more expensive than everything else...

I have a gas grill and as soon as I got my Egg I haven't used the grill once...I would honestly consider if you want to put any money towards a grill.

Haven't yet..House will be done in March and will have the outdoor kitchen done soon after. Putting a Grill Dome copper classic out there as well.

Let me know if you need any help. We are in Spring/Woodlands. I can give you a quick rundown even if you aren't in our area. .

We sell Lynx - American made, heliarc welded (versus bolted/screwed together), all infared option with true zone cooking, lifetime warranty virtually too to bottom, and a couple other small things that put them a notch ahead.

Blaze Pro is a great grill for the money! Lots of great features, heavy duty, lifetime warranty, etc.

Saber's are great grills! I wish I had one in my outdoor kitchen instead of the Bull Outdoor grill that I installed when I built it a few years ago.

If you have an egg, I'd just buy a disposable gas grill from a box store. If you don't use it, it won't be painful to get rid of it. If you use it, replace every 7-10 years.

Memphis Pellet Grill, can get them built in or free standing.

You can cook hot, 650+ or low and slow with different smoke flavors based on the pellets.

It cooks 95% as good as an egg, but with so much less work. My wife will even use the Memphis where she wouldn't touch the egg.

I went from gas grill, to an egg and never touching the gas grill, to Memphis and never touching the egg.

Agree. Nothing easier with better flavor than the Memphis. We have a couple on display and just installed a built in on one of our outdoor kitchen projects. Louisiana Grills is coming out with a built in at a lower price point as well. Can't beat the quality of the Memphis. It also has built in wifi control and monitoring ability now.
