I added on ~1000sf and have had every intention of doing the attic insulation myself but just can't find the time. Does anyone have a recommendation for a contractor in NW Houston? I figure their price will be low enough for me to justify paying some one or high enough to get me motivated to do it myself.

Williams Insulation is going to do mine. It's cheap enough for them to do it, especially since it's getting hotter.

We used MJ Insulation a couple years ago. Price was right around what the insulation alone would have cost us. Just wish the stupid squirrels and a random rat wouldn't have come along and put a few trails through it.

It's not too uncommon for the insulation companies to be able to do the job for what it would cost to buy the material from Home Depot and get the "free" machine rental.
