I'm guessing you have pecan weevils, if you had boll weevils you'd be suffering from the wrath of a thousand angry ento-nerds descending upon your yard. Bifenthrin is available in some form at most hardware stores, that ought to do it.

Boll Weevils wouldn't have much use for your yard unless you're growing cotton.

But if you do have boll weevils, these guys will take care of them for you.




I used to work for those ento-nerds.
I can now tell a male boll weevil from a female one. One of my many talents and skills.

Could also be Oak Weevils. I get those every year. I don't have pecan trees but do have several oaks.
