I have a couple of pecan trees in my back yard that have the aphid bad! Both black and yellow aphids are visible and Foliage damage is starting to get heavy. Any input on how I can control these pests? I don't need the nuts, I just want them to stay healthy.

Something with Lambda-cyhalothrin should do the trick.
