Do aerosol cans expire?

I have an assortment of aerosol paint cams, spray adhesive cans, etc in the garage. Some of them I've had for 5+ years. Do these eventually expire? If so, can I just throw them away?

no you can not just throw chemicals away.

Should be good for a long time, unless it's aerosol cheese. In that case, it's good forever.

Might have to clean out the tip.
