Anything in particular to keep in mind? Once laid, the pavers won't get any foot traffic.

Thinking of packing the soil pretty tight, weed barrier, pebbles, pavers, and sand.

Obviously I would beef up the threshold at the foot of the slope with pavers on their side.

Help me out, bank of infinite wisdom.

They should be fine with a standard sand bed base for upto 4-5% slope without any problem. Probably more than that

Crushed granite base will lock better than pea gravel, machine pack. Layer of sand to level perfectly. Unless it's a steep slope, the metal edging should be sufficient. I purchased the long stakes in lieu of the shorties that came with the edging. Some dig down into the ground, but I wanted mine higher than the overall lawn. I later back filled topsoil against the edging and tapering into the yard over ~3 feet which will also help hold everything in place.
