How about other shrubs and lawn this time of year?

I wouldn't fertilize again until fall, and why the higher phosphorous?

what is the analysis? Look for a place on the bag that breaks down the N-P-K numbers. Does it have any iron, magnesium, manganese, etc. in it? Is it slow release nitrogen or is it all quick release? Make sure the crape isn't being stressed from lack of water.
