Trouble with installing storm door (screen door)

Wife and I bought a storm door this weekend... well the damn thing just doesn't fit and it is obivious from the looks of the door framing job extra trim is a must.

Anyone have any experience with putting these things in and any advice?

mg, thanks for your effort. After work yesterday I looked at it more carefully, all we really need is a 1 - 1 1/2 in piece of trim to add to the frame and give it enough surface area to bite in the rails and the striker plate.
