I'm growing a tomato plant, jalapeno, italian peppers, red peppers, corn, swiss chard in a small garden. Am I supposed to put a frame around some of the plants to ensure growth or can they stand alone?

Your tomato's will need a little support, a 1/2" dowel rod 4-5 feet should work, once the plant starts putting on height gentley wrap it around the dowel and it should grown up right, other wise it'll be a vine. My peppers have been producing like crazy with teh heat and need support due to the weight, so a 1/2" dowel rod 2-3 feet works great for support there as well.
