got some granite put in the kitchen and they disconnected the gas cooktop. I reconnected the line, turned on the gas but I wasn't getting the spark from each of the stations. I could hand light it just fine. What in the hell am I missing?

We've all had one of those brain farts. It's just funnier when it happens to someone else.

the WORST part about it was my wife said "Did you plug it in"? I replied, "Babe, it's gas not electric". Hopefully, she'll never find out. I'll just claim I had to do something else.

We won't tell her.... Been there done that (at least something similarly stupid...with wife having suggested the correct solution)

I said, "why don't you mark where the studs and new copper tubing are before you try to put the drywall up?" Nah, no big deal.

Next thing you know he is racing through the house and the oldest daughter(who was a baby) is screaming! He nailed through the new water line and water was spraying like crazy and hitting the baby!
