Heading there in a couple of weeks and staying at a casino. Contraband Bayou is undergoing maintenance and has no idea when they will open back up. Golden Nugget's course doesn't have any availability. Are there any other course recommendations in the area? Just 3 of us, not looking for anything overly fancy, a decent course is fine. Hopefully not a 6-hour round either so we can get back to the sportsbook and tables.

We are going in a couple weeks. We have times booked at the Nugget, Mallard, and Kosati Pines.

Second this one. Its been 8-10 years, but I remember it being in really good shape and a fun course. Def has the a Louisiana vibe to it.

Grey Plantation and Louisiana National were great about 10yrs ago. I was looking up options for a buddy and was disappointed that Louisiana National has course pictures from the winter when everything was brown and dead. That was a fun course that kicked our buts because we were there more for the beer and buddies aspect of the golf trip and those dang bunkers seemed to be EVERYWHERE

if you're in a pinch, Frasch Park is actually decent for a muni.
