Family trip. 5 of us, youngest will be 18. Interested in something out west so it's not 100 degrees.
I know there are some nice golf resorts out there but not familiar with ones that might offer horseback, fishing, etc

I haven't done either of these, but they're on my radar based on what I've heard.

Sun Valley Resort, Idaho 45 holes across three courses, horseback riding, guided fly fishing, hiking/biking, sport shooting, tennis/pickleball, etc. And Ketchum is a real town with restaurants and things to do at night.

Maybe also look into Big Sky Resort, Montana. Good golf, fly fishing, horseback riding, hiking, and obviously plenty of mountain scenery.

Sun River is great idea. Bend is a great place to go.


I know several that do a guys trip to Whitefish MT every year.

My wife's family has a place in sun river. Absolutely amazing and some great courses near by, (my favorite is the Woodlands course) but I've heard that most of them recently went private in the sun river community (even if you live/have a place there). There's still some good courses around the area but would recommend confirming which ones you can get on.

If you are looking for golf/outdoors/horseback riding and not 100 degrees ............. Colorado Mountains have all of that. Same for Park City.

Northern Minnesota should be on your list. Tons of great golf around Brainerd and nice temps.
