Hypothetically speaking here, leaving from Houston and you have seven days. Road trip golf trip. One round per day. Basically a big loop sorta. No states are off limits. Any suggestions? Could be a good father son type of trip. A new course every day.

I'd consider heading north. End up at Payne's Valley. Between East Texas and Arkansas you gotta be able to find a good spot or two on the way there and back.

If you go east, also look at Mossy Oak in Mississippi

Playing a course then driving a couple hours would get old after a couple days. Maybe find a spot with 3-4 courses near so you aren't checking into a new hotel each night. Play a course on the way there and one on the way home.

Yeah, interesting trip for a father and son. I think it's doable and could be fun. If I were doing it though I'd probably aim less for a round a day and lean more to total number of rounds. Allowing some travel time and some days for 36

A basic route could be

Pine dunes
Wild spring dunes

Head up to frisco for the new Omni pga maybe

Then drive to payne's valley and park there to play all the course
