I didn't realize it was night golf.

This is pretty cool with all the graphics and lights on the lit course. The shot tracer is bad ass against the night sky.

And it's really great to hear Feherty!

looks absolutely awesome. If they could find a way to do that in Houston (next time they return) and play at night my family would be there no doubt. It would be cooler temp wise, and my kids would love it.

Your comment is neither funny, nor factually correct. Well, I guess it's 50% correct. LIV does have a few has-been's, same difference as the PGAT have a field of 85 never were's.

So how dark is it in other areas of the course? If they don't hit the fairway is it hard to find your ball?

plenty bright to find the balls that miss the fairway. It's a desert course so the only trees on it are palms. They don't have to worry about branch coverage blocking the lights.

This probably isn't the thread for you then. I have no want to listen to another argument. I'm watching something fun and enjoyable for entertainment. And I appreciate LIV actually trying.

Cam Smith shanked one waaayyy out into the sand and they found it earlier easily. I don't think it's as dark as it seems off the fairway. Just not as lit up as the holes.

It also allows them to do light shows / graphics, stuff with the darker backdrop.

They were just showing a dancing fountain with image projection and I actually LOLed when Feherty said. Wow that's cool.. Hope no one has epilepsy

I have ESPN+ To watch a lot of college basketball and baseball that can't be watched otherwise. The golf is a bonus.

Watched for 30 minutes before they switched to basketball. Where are the people? I've seen more people at East River 9. I don't think night golf on TV plays well. No skyline. I understand their why, just seems very meh.

And, no podium for IronHeads.

Meronk has a weird preshot routine. Don't know if I've ever seen a guy actually address the ball and take his swing to the top like that. Looks like he'll survive.

Well watching the WMPO now and Speith does the same thing. Interesting

Self proclaimed best golfer in the world, Taylor Gooch, and DJ in the drop zone. Sergio to win the masters? Is Cam Smith the forgotten man. One of the biggest names in sports after St Andrew's, who I truly enjoyed watching golf, to completely irrelevant the last couple years. Bland and Dechambeau battling it out for a top 10 spot in the season standings. Smash GC in DFL, is Brooks cashed out? So many great stories this season so far.

Splitting off has never worked in modern American sports. There's a reason no one has seriously tried it since the USFL 40 years ago. This thing never gaining traction with fans was as predictable as the sun rising.

Several of the defectors have 3-4 year deals that will be ending soon. The PGA would be wise just to wait it out
