Does anyone have experience with these irons? Pros, Cons, Reviews?

I bought a set of 201's, the driver, and the 3 wood back in October. I'm not much of a golfer, but I think takomo is the best value for golf clubs out there. I'm about to pull the trigger on some wedges in the next month or so.

I own a set of 101s, 101Ts, and 301CBs…

They're all fabulous…

Very Ping-Like at less than half the cost…

They've gone all in with the youtube golfers. Even signed Horvat to a deal.

Visually, they look really nice.

However, I sure would like to hit them to know if they "work".

With their improving popularity, maybe they'll have some demo days soon.

I think they've been out long enough now that you could find a set at 2nd Swing or store like that.

Oh, I've seen them on eBay and 2nd Swing. I just don't know if I want to parlay $400+ dollars to see if I like them better than my current set of irons. I'd like to try them out before purchasing.

yeah one reason I went with New Level over Takomo was lack of a demo program from them. Very limited on shaft offerings too but hard to beat the price for a full set.

Thought this was interesting and goes along with the youtube golfer angle.

They brought in Grant Horvat as an "owner", too.

Wesley Bryan switched over to Takomo while still fighting to keep his tour card which was either stupid, a testament to how much he believed in the irons, or got paid a lot of money by Takomo.

Honestly not sure.

He's game is very FIGJAM like but without most of the success (see their latest match to reinforce that ). So wedges and feel around the greens are his game. I imagine a guy like that is looking for all the iron help he can get. So if he switched while keeping his card by the skin of his teeth, it probably wasn't for small sponsorship payday. And I don't see them paying him a huge sponsorship.

Although their Youtube channel is great and only growing.

The make the cut series is arguably my favorite golf thing on Youtube along with Bryson's break 50.

Both Bryan Bros and Grant are considered equity owners. No idea what all that entails and could be a very small percentage of the company. Grant still has a TM deal for driver, woods, and ball.

Wondering if the the previous owner was looking for a way out and sold to a few guys
