So I had to call Ping and I got some cool news.

I bought a used set of Ping Zing Irons 2-9 with a Sand Wedge and a putter and came with the original bag for $50. The irons were made in 1992 all standard black dot.

The putter is a Ping Zing 5 copper that is in great shape, just re gripped it today and the sand wedge is also copper from 1995 and in great shape.

Not sure what they are worth but I learned to play on a set of Ping Eye 2 and they are still my clubs I play with since they were new in 1989.

The Ping Zing were made in 1992 and with the bag like mine but in a deep red maroon I couldn't pass up.

Recently went out to Augusta Pines and one of the instructors was in disbelief I was still playing with the Eye 2; said they are heavy and there is much better technology in clubs.

I agree…but I cant even break 90.

1
