That's why my Skytrak says.

I feel like I swung at least 100,000 times.

I guess I haven't practiced as much as I thought I did... hence I suck and F GOLF!

I'm spoiled with my golf tech and membership, so I have access to hit balls any minute of the day I have availability, and it only helped me going from a 14 to a 6 handicap.

Emptying bucket after bucket isn't practicing.

When I'm actually practicing now, I have an actual plan in place and I stick to it, whether the swing is good that day or not.

Well it takes 10,000 hours of practice to become an expert, you have to be near 300 hours if you hit a ball every 30 seconds

Only 1,160,000 more shots to go

I was going to respond with Dumb & Dumber GIF "you mean there's a chance" but ...

It's a full time job to become an expert in golf. And there's no way I can nor will dedicate that much time. My body wouldn't hold up either.

And of course like the rest of 99.9% of the golfing population, I have a LOFT issue.

tell you what..

My ball flight is different everyday. Loft, spin, curvature, speed and distance. It's different from morning to night. But it taught me the day to day variances of what my ball does and I can play with the expectation that my misses will be playable.

Majority of my practice swings have been 135 yards in. 80-135 yards, I feel like I'm the best at my club. It doesn't appear so on the surface as 90% of my approaches are mis-hits but I'm going to be putting. And once in a while I'm going to scare the hole. And this is where I beat the guys. I'm not the longest. I'm really not a good putter. My chipping is choppy. But give me 135 yards in or from the greenside bunker (I spend hours practicing once in a while), I'm gonna beat you.

lmao, I did invest in a quality mat. I used to get sore wrist/elbow when I first got it set up.

Lower back is getting some PT right now, but thankfully that's working. Set my ball speed record last month, and have been grinding that like crazy lately. Too many guys in our skins group hitting 9 iron when I'm hitting 5.

100%, I'll spend most of my practice with 3 wedges in my hand from quarter shots, to flops etc. scoring clubs matter

I believe you. I just also believe I beat every single guy who says they jusssssssst figure out a way to squeak out wins against guys like me. Weird how the anecdotes never line up.

I think you misread my post. I responded to your post but it wasn't directed at "you"

I've started doing this a lot. I recently picked up a set of Arccos smart sensors, and it has been really eye opening to see where I'm losing strokes. 125-149 yards has been my main practice focus recently.
