Any of yall experimented with these? I generally hook with my misses. Been thinking about giving these a run to see if like them. FWIW I wear an XL glove and got fit into midsize grips when I had my clubs made.
I know a lot of people that swear by them, but I didn't like them.
I'm in the school that thinks your finger tips should just meet your palm with the left hand. No gap (grip too big), and no finger tips digging in (grip too small)
I would just caution that the worst slump I ever had came on the heels of me switching to fatter grips as a bandaid to combat a growing hook problem. Worked well until they didn't. Went back to the basics with my old grips and fixed the flaw in my swing to got back on track
That said, sounds like you may be a candidate for them being the right move for you given glove size. I'd just be a little wary
I have been thinking about this since the Daly-Bryson Break 50 episode discussion. Both guys seemed to agree there was a lot of benefit to it. I currently use Winn Dri-Tac 2.0 Midsize grips but am curious to try the oversize now.
The reasoning I think I heard from Bryson (and this applies to wearing 2 gloves like baseball players) is you can apply more force to the club which can produce more speed
