One of my coworkers has recently dived headfirst into the golf world. He's been playing for maybe 4 years now and is honestly pretty respectable.

He swears by this course on the east side of Houston called River Terrace. There's no tee times.. you just show up and play, assuming there isn't someone already teeing off. $35 with a cart.

Has anyone played it? Are conditions decent? I can't find much on it online.

It's been about a decade, but when I played the greens were great for the price. The rest was about what you'd expect.
