We're headed there in October and looking for a good course to play. I've played Mariana Butte. Good stuff.

Huge bonus points if it has a spa for the wife, like the Omni Interlocken Hotel in Broomfield

I think you found your course. I played it about ten years ago and enjoyed it.

The Hilton in Inverness has a course and a spa. Also gets you on the right side of town to play Bear Dance. Looks like Bear Dance is aerating the last two days of September. They will also put up the Elk Fences at some point around then and usually go CPO sometime in October. Still worth playing there though.

Almost a cliche' but Arrowhead.

It's neat to see them red rocks and hitting balls around stupid mule dear harboring ticks with disease etc...
